it’s grossly
uncompetitive, unneeded, and obsolete—so hopelessly uneconomic that one
needn’t
debate
whether it’s clean and safe.” -Amory Lovins, Rocky

Bowling
Green (& surrounding area) Green Directory
This
first Green Living Directory for Bowling GreenKentucky
was developed by the BGGreen Partnership for a Sustainable
Community, with
the purpose to promote “green” businesses in our community. Every dollar spent is a vote, and this
directory is designed to help people “vote” in closer accordance with their beliefs, by giving them
information about businesses that are actively working to reduce their environmental impact and to contribute to a
more equitable, safe, and prosperous future for our community. and
southcentral
This
directory was
created as a tool for busy people – to help each of us begin to bring
our purchasing habits more in line with our
beliefs. Use it to find
local products and services or information you need. Exercise the
“power of the
purse”, i.e., customer demand, to stimulate demand for more green
products and
business options. Our hope is that this Directory will encourage the
growth of
more green businesses in our community and help them to prosper.
Throughout
this Directory you will see Green Partners.
These are
businesses that contributed to help fund the printing of this
Directory. We
encourage you to thank these businesses and to use them, for supporting
this
effort and the goals we collectively promote for the betterment of our
community.
