In the Iranian ghost-town Bad City, a place that reeks of death and loneliness, the townspeople are unaware they are being stalked by a lonesome vampire. One night Arash, a young hardworking Iranian man, meets this lonesome vampire, "the woman with the chador". Due to his compassionate and vulnerable nature the woman with the chador resists taking his life. A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is a 2014 Persion-language horror film directed by Ana Lily Amirpour, and was chosen to show at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
You are invited to a free screening of this with an introduction and discussion led by Saya Amiri, a graduate student at WKU. Snacks will be provided. 6:00 - 9:00pm.
