Welcome to ATP at WKU!

Don't miss out on classes this semester by putting ATP off. You must attend, so reserve your date today!

You must reserve your ATP date at least four business days in advance. Read below to find out more.

All students must take the Math Placement Exam online before attending ATP. Click here to learn more.

The ATP office is located at 110 Potter Hall.

Your academic journey starts here.

The Academic Transitions Program (ATP) is a required one day orientation program for all new students. Through ATP, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of WKU student service and academic support representatives, have fun meeting other students at ATP, have your WKU ID Card made, and officially register for classes with an academic advisor.

 STUDENTS: Before attending ATP, please view the information on the sidebar for tips on how to register and other links to prepare you for life as a Hilltopper.

Step 1. You must be admitted to attend ATP.

Step 2. Reserve your ATP date.

Step 3. Take the required placement exam(s).
All students are required to take the Math Placement Exam (MPE) online by 11:59 p.m. CST at least four business days before your ATP date. You may need to take other placement exams. Click here to learn more.

Step 4. Be "In The Know" before ATP!

Step 5. Read your reminders!
A copy of your ATP newsletter, "The Big Red Message", is available online beginning two weeks before your date.
