Your academic journey starts here.
The Academic Transitions Program (ATP) is a required one day orientation program for all new students. Through ATP, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of WKU student service and academic support representatives, have fun meeting other students at ATP, have your WKU ID Card made, and officially register for classes with an academic advisor.
STUDENTS: Before attending ATP, please view the information on the sidebar for tips on how to register and other links to prepare you for life as a Hilltopper.
Step 1. You must be admitted to attend ATP.

Step 2. Reserve your ATP date.

Step 3. Take the required placement exam(s).
All students are required to take the Math Placement Exam (MPE) online by 11:59 p.m.
CST at least four business days before your ATP date. You may need to take other placement
exams. Click here to learn more.
Step 4. Be "In The Know" before ATP!
