Bio
Hello everyone! I teach Deaf Culture & History online course. I grew up in eastern Kentucky, and attended Kentucky School for the Deaf with my Deaf sister from kindergarten until I graduated from high school there. I graduated from Gallaudet University with two bachelor’s degrees then I obtained my master’s degree in Deaf Education. I am certified by American Sign Language Teachers Association with a level of Qualified. I love to travel, and I have fulfilled my dream of going on a road trip through northern states to California and return through southern states. I have been to 48 states. I also love to play disc golf and sign ASL & ABC stories. ASL really is a beautiful language, and I am proud to use it as my first language!
