The Biotechnology Center has state–of–the–art instrumentation for performing DNA sequencing, microsatellite analysis, real–time PCR and computer facilities for bioinformatics. Research and applications using these tools are employed in wildlife forensics, molecular systematics, bioremediation, phytoremediation, genetic expression in plants, virology, and in environmental biotechnology.
