Sisterhood.

Sisterhood in Alpha Omicron Pi means much more than attending meetings, going to social events and wearing Greek letters. In AOII, you can find a place where you feel at home and have great friends to share your college life.

It is a feeling of belonging to a group of women who accept you for who you are and encourage you to develop into who you want to become.

You can count on your sisters in good times and in bad, strive for your goals as a chapter, and draw sisters together in one strong bond.

Sisterhood is for a lifetime. It means activities with alumnae beyond your college experience. A chance for the experience to continue and grow.

Every year members gather to celebrate the founding of our sorority. At this luncheon, you can see how AOII can be there for a lifetime. AOII members make new friends and reunite with old friends. The bond of sisterhood makes the connections easy.

Alumnae find it hard to truly convey the depth of their AOII experience that they had beyond their college years except to promise younger members that it is there if they choose to seek it out. Members who have been initiated for 75 years will gladly vouch that they found that promise to be true for them.

AOII is a special place where you can belong. Sisterhood means a shoulder to cry on when times are tough, as well as, your cheering fans in the crowd when you excel. We were founded on the principle of friendship for a lifetime and continue to be true to that with our special AOII Sisterhood.
