Sulfur Analyzer

The sulfur analyzer is used to measure total sulfur concentrations in various solid materials. Typically, approximately 0.2 grams of sample is loaded into a sample boat and pushed into a hot combustion tube in a stream of oxygen. The sample burns, forming sulfur oxides which are detected and measured by the unit.

Typical methods include

ASTM method D 4239
