Administrative Assistant Internship - Eloise Houchens Center

The Houchens Center is looking for an intern to work with the hostess and members of the board in the daily operations of the nonprofit.  Board officers and the hostess will supervise the progress of the intern.  If you like to do clerical work, assist with special event planning and fundraisers, and are organized, this internship is for you!  Clink this link to download the internship description and details about applying.


Internship Opportunities - Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking student interns for the 2012 spring semester. 

Qualified candidates must be available to work during office hours.  The Chamber is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Monday and from 8:00am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Friday.  You may tailor your internship schedule around your school or other commitments.  Interns typically spend 15-20 hours at the Chamber each week.  Internships, while unpaid, are an investment in your future because of the experiences you will gain at the Chamber.  Preference is placed on students with strong communication skills and a desire to assist chamber professional with projects, events, publications, and day-to-day chamber operations.  For more information, please contact 270-781-3200 or submit your resume to betty@bgchamber.com.

 

Internships - Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for an intern that will be responsible for assisting the Special Events Director with the agency's biggest annual fundraiser, Bowl For Kids' Sake. The intern will gain valuable knowledge and skills in fund development strategies, including planning and implementing a national nonprofit fundraising event. Big Brothers Big Sisters is currently seeking student interns for their Bowling Green and Glasgow offices for the spring semester.  Qualified candidates must be available to work sometime during office hours (8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday) as well as some weekends during special events.  Preference is placed on students with strong communication skills and a desire to assist with special events execution.  Clink the link to download the internship description and details about applying.


Marketing & Communications Internship - Junior Achievement
