Summer Fun Activities for Kids - Extended Camps

 

 Acad-A Camp

Bowling Green's Christian Academy's very own Summer program full learning and fun! The camp includes age appropriate activities and field trips. 

  • When: June 1st-July 24th
  • Time: 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
  • Cost: $32 per day or $150 per week
  • Grades 1st-6th

An Enrollment/Supply Fee of $30 per family is due with registration form. Enrollment fee of $20 is required from any student not currently attending BGCA.

Camp Big Red 2015

A day camp that allows campers to experience positive group interactions in a safe and fun environment. We give campers the opportunity to develop teamwork skills, to experience fun adventures, and to create new and lasting friendships through arts & crafts, sports, daily recreational activities, special events, and field trips. Camp Big Red is a wonderful way to spend the summer.

Barefoot Republic Camp

Barefoot Republic Camp offers two different camp experiences depending on campers’ grade level.  Overnight Camp is open to incoming 3rd-12th grade campers and is available for seven weeks in the summer; weeks are broken up based on grade level.  Day Camp is available for those campers who are incoming K-6th grade and available for four or more weeks at at least four different locations in Franklin, Brentwood and Nashville.

 2015 Overnight Camp Dates:

Session I: May 26 – 31: Junior High
Session II: June 1-6: Senior High
Session III: June 7-12: Junior High
Session IV: June 16-20: 3rd-5th Grade
Session V: June 28 – July 3: Senior High
Session VI: July 5-10: Junior High
Session VII: July 14-18: 3rd-5th Grade

The regular cost for a 3rd-5th grade session is $474, while Junior/Senior High sessions are $574. Financial aid will be available and no kids will be turned away due to financial reasons. Please also take advantage of Pack Your Pal and Sibling Discounts. Tuition will increase $25 starting May 1st.

Plan now to join us! 2015 marks our 14th summer of camp and the seventh summer at our facility just over an hour north of Nashville. We are only able to accept 90 campers for each session. In recent years we have been at capacity and had students on our waitlist for every session, so we encourage you to reserve your space by completing your application and submitting your deposit as soon as possible.

Over the last two summers, in addition to our traditional athletics, performing arts, fine arts, extreme sports and team-building programs, we added own recreational lake, water sports, horseback, archery, and bouldering to our list of growing activities.

Day Camp I: June 29-July 3 in in Franklin, TN at Christ Community Church
Day Camp II: July 13-17 in Nashville, TN at West End Community Church
Day Camp III: July 20-24 in Brentwood, TN at Brentwood UMC
Day Camp IV: July 27-31 in Nashville, TN at Christ Church
