WKU ALIVE Center Encourages Youth to Make Cards for Soldiers

The WKU Department of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport (KRS) is organizing its final shipment of care packages to its adopted troops currently serving in Afghanistan, and this shipment will include something special from area youth. Along with the essential items being donated, youth are making cards to show their appreciation for the soldiers. (read more)

 

Grant Research Workshop Offered for Community

Western Kentucky University’s ALIVE Center for Community Partnerships continues its Summer Workshop Series July 20th with the grant research workshop titled “Is Any Money Out There?” Participants from across the region have attended the previous two workshops titled “Working with Diverse Communities” and “Major Gifts and Capital Fundraising.” The ALIVE Center staff looks forward to keeping up the same pace with the grant research workshop.
