Service Description: This program is responsible for teaching and training the special educators and special education administrators that work in P-12 settings, hospitals and justice facilities. Faculty are involved and provide leadership with the Kelly Autism Program and the Kentucky Taskforce on Teacher Recruitment and Retention. Currently, faculty are writing a new Education Specialist program for educators who want to work with children with Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorders and Serious Emotional and Behavioral Problems. Provides assistance to parents of children with autism.
