Service Description: ‘Ready To Work’ is a partnership between the Kentucky Community and Technical College (KCTCS) and the Cabinet for Families and Children (CFC). It is designed to promote the success of Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (K-TAP) recipients who attend community and technical colleges and to provide short-term training opportunities. Assistance is provided with job references and referrals, short-term training, job skills, life skills, and academic success seminars, counseling, advising, and mentoring, and agency referrals.
