Service Description: Provides a place to stay and stabilize circumstances, emotions, and/or chemistry for people with severe mental illness such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and other serious and chronic mental illness. Professionals work together with and encourage consumers and family members to resolve issues and situations that may have contributed to the crisis. Services are provided in a supportive environment without leaving the community or entering a hospital. Each resident is evaluated by mental health professionals and is involved in the development of his or her own personal treatment plan.
