Service Description: Provides individual and community services to alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty. Services administered in 7 areas: employment, education, housing, self-sufficiency, emergency services, community participation and economic development. Programs managed by this office include: Supportive Housing Program, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Garden Program, Scholarships, Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and the Refugee Employment Program.
