Service Description: School-based mentoring program for volunteers age 15 and up to meet with a child at risk in the school and Community-Based mentoring program for volunteers age 18 and up for a child at risk 2-4 hours a week for at least one year.

Volunteer Opportunities: Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central KY School based mentoring programs and community based mentoring programs. Please contact DeAnna Coles at (270) 781-1180.

Community-Based Program: Volunteers provide Littles with one-on-one time and attention in their community, typically two to four hours per week. Volunteers must be at least 18-years-old, and activities can include any variety of outings in the community.

School-Based Program: Volunteers provide Littles with one-on-one time and attention in their school, typically one to two hours per week. BBBS currently serves Dishman-McGinnis, Parker-Bennett-Curry, Briarwood, Cumberland, Lost River, Warren Elementary, Bowling Green Junior High, and Girls Inc. Volunteers must be at least 15-years-old, and all activities must take place on school grounds.
