Summer Activities Fair

Community Education, Bowling Green High School Youth Services Center and Natcher Elementary Family Resource Center are co-sponsoring the 9th annual Summer Activities Fair on the evening of Tuesday, April 23 in BGHS arena.  The purpose of the fair is to provide parents with children in grades k-12 a one-stop shop opportunity for information on the activities, camps, or other programs offered during the summer in our community.  They anticipate the hours for the public to be 5:30 - 7 p.m.  Vendors can set up as early as 4 p.m., but need to be set up no later than 5 p.m. as some parents arrive early to pick up materials.

If your agency/organization/business/church/team has summer programs/camps/activities and you would be interested in having a person at the fair to register children or at least have information available, please contact Debi Wade Jordan at  djordan@commed.us.

Please provide the following information for publication:

*Name of organization

*Name of contact person

*Contact e-mail address

*Phone number of organization

*A very brief (just two or three words - like "summer camp," "football camp" or "reading program") description.

In order to have a space reserved at a table, an organization must commit to providing someone to be at the table to answer questions, distribute information, etc.

The fair will be advertised in the Daily News, promoted on WBKO-TV and sent to each FRYSC to promote among the parents of their respective schools.

Each group represented at the fair will be included in a listing to be handed out to parents as they enter the fair.

Please pass this along to anyone else who may have a summer program or activities.
