Agronomy Club

The WKU Agronomy Club provides a common interest association for students in the plant and soil sciences discipline. Currently there are 20 members in the Agronomy Club and two faculty advisors, Dr. Todd Willian and Dr. Becky Gilfillen. There is no membership fee and we welcome all students with an interest in Agriculture. Throughout the year we participate in activities such as trips, social nights, and fundraisers. In the 2010-2011 year we attended Jackson’s Orchard, Chaney’s Dairy Barn, Crop Production Service’s Owensboro Facility, Waters Laboratories in Owensboro, and Roundstone Seed. Currently our meetings are held the first Wednesday night of each month at 7:00 pm. If you have any questions regarding the club please contact one of the advisors and they will refer you to a club officer.
