Advisors of Excellence

During the Fall 2009 semester the Academic Advising and Retention Center provided an opportunity for professional staff advisors throughout the WKU campus to come together and participate in a training/professional development opportunity. This initiative, called the Advisors of Excellence Program, brought advisors throughout the campus together to learn more about advising, best practices, and application of advising style during the Fall semester. Each staff member who successfully completed the program attended the four primary sessions and the celebration reception at the conclusion.
