To determine appropriate reading course placement, students with an ACT reading score below 18 will be required to enroll in DRDG 080C and take the Accuplacer test during the first class meeting.

Students will be able to drop the reading class if they score above the 60th percentile on the test.

DRDG 080C, College Reading Strategies, is a 3-hour course offered through the Academic Support Division of the Community College.

In advising students who need supplemental reading instruction, advisors are encouraged to help students avoid classes with intensive reading requirements.
