Campus Safety Report
When I moved from New Jersey to Kentucky, I was a nervous about not knowing anybody. But it turned out, I had nothing to worry about - everyone at WKU has treated me like family. The passion people have here and their drive to succeed is like nowhere else I’ve ever been, especially in the healthcare administration major. I’m really excited that one day I’ll really be able to help people in need, and help get them through really difficult times in their lives. I hope work in a nursing home after graduation, and one day become the director of a hospital in need.
For now, I really enjoy working on campus because everyone works with my class schedule, and I don’t have to worry about choosing work before school. As a telecounselor in the WKU Office of Admission, I get to spread the word to other people about WKU, and everything that happens here. It’s always great when I can tell the person on the other end of the phone is just as passionate about WKU as I am.
