There’s a special feeling on this campus—WKU has a rich history and a strong tradition of excellence in many programs. You can literally feel that when you’re here. There’s vibrancy unlike any other university in this nation. Seeing those red towels wave at graduation produces a pride in me like nothing else could. Being a Hilltopper is something truly extraordinary—a unique honor that I will carry with me throughout my life. I like to take a walk up the Hill in the early morning, gaze at downtown Bowling Green, and just dream. My dreams will materialize because of the empowerment I’ve gained here at WKU. Both educationally and personally, WKU has empowered me to live my dreams.
After graduation, I will hopefully be a Broadway actor in New York City. With the intensive artistic training I’ve gotten, plus the practicality of strong liberal arts education to back it up, I will be ready to face the real world challenges of a professional career in the performing arts in America’s largest city. In fact, if you’ve got the will to succeed, WKU can provide you the boost to be successful in whatever you wish to pursue.
