Departmental Requirements

In addition to University admission, students who wish to pursue a major in one of the following departments must also seek departmental admission:

• Allied Health and Human Services
• College of Business (all departments)
• Journalism and Broadcasting
• Nursing
• Public Health
• Teacher Education
• Speech and Communication Disorders

Baccalaureate degree programs generally require admission by the third year of study. Students interested in associate degree programs are encouraged to contact the department well in advance of initial enrollment. Contact the respective department for information about requirements of that department.
