What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?
Bring a good pari of sturdy shoes. The hill takes a little getting used to and having good shoes will make the trek a lot more bearable.
Tips you would give students about getting involved are:
The easiest way to get involved on campus is to not be afraid. Go out of your comfort zone and meet new people. THey will be your best resource to learning about activities going on on campus. Also, find a few things that interest you and commit to them. Get involved early in the year so you develop good habits and are more likely to stay involved during the school year.

One piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman:
Learn good habits early. If you start off the semester blowing off school work and not going to clas,s you will most likely continue doing this the entire semester. So, learn to make school work your priority over all else. Education is the most important thing about college so get that done first and then enjoy yourself.
