What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?

A planner! Life on The Hill is often fun, but it’s also full of responsibilities. Keeping track of everything you need and want to get done inside a planner can be a big help once the semester gets busier. Staying organized can help students avoid those forgetful moments!

Tips you would give students about getting involved are:

Find something you are interested in and go for it. Getting involved on campus can feel overwhelming, especially for new students, but being a part of a group is well worth it! Experiences outside the classroom are just as important as the things we learn in the classroom. Getting involved is a great way to make new friends and get to know others on campus.

Other campus organizations in which you are involved:

Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society

TopperWell Peer Health Educators

A bit of advice I would give is to stay sensible. Making good choices and forming good habits now will only be beneficial in the long run. A little responsibility can go a long way!
