What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?

Comfortable shoes! You will want them for those walks up the hill for class. Also, be willing to try new things and get involved in eveything you can to make the best college experience!

Tips you would give students about getting involved are:

For any hobby that you enjoy, WKU probably has a club for it!  Get involved in activities that you love but also those that may be brand new to you.  Also get involved in clubs that are specific to your major, which will help you meet students that you have classes with who may become future study buddies

Other campus organizations in which you are involved:

I am also involved in Alpha Xi Delta sorority as well as the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) within my major.

One piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman:

Get involved in everything that you can and have fun!
