What is the one thing that every student should bring to campus?

A new student to WKU should always be willing to bring an open mind. There are going to be some different things that you are not used too. College can be a new experience for everybody and your first year is what you really make of it.  WKU is a unique place, waiting for you to seize the day.

Tips you would give students about getting involved:

Do not be afraid to try something new. WKU has so many different things that you can get involved in, it would be a waste to not do something new. If you take the time to get to know this campus you will see how many different opportunities there are.  The HILL is waiting; you just have to be ready to climb to the TOP!!!

Other campus organizations in which you are involved:

I just started my first year as being an RA this year. I am also a peer mentor for an University Experience class. This is my second year of being a part of the Episcopal Campus Ministry. I will also be trying be apart of intramurals.

One piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman:

Time management will be one of the keys to your success while here at WKU. Procrastinating will hurt you in so many different ways. Just stay on top of everything and you will have a great year here at WKU. Most importantly though remember GO TOPS!!!
