What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?

A good attitude!  -and any item that reminds you of who you are/where you come from!

Tips you would give students about getting involved are:

Get involved in everything you can without putting too much on your plate - be a good judge of balancing your academics with extracurricular activities!

Step outside of your comfort zone and participate in diverse clubs, events, committees, etc.

One piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman:

You are continuously surrounded by opportunity so take advantage of it, follow your intuition, and build relationships with your professors and with your advisor.
