What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?

The determination to succeed at WKU! You are here to have fun adn get involved around campus but ultimately you are here to better yourself and get an education that will allow you to live a successful life after your time at WKU. Never lose the determination to excel at whatever you choose to puruse during your time at WKU!

Tips you would give students about getting involved are:

Find something you think is interesting and coll and pursue it! There are flyers, people, and yes even chalk writign all over campus that tell you about clubs and campus events you can join or participate in to become active within WKU. Getting involved at WKU will make all the difference in your time here!

Other campus organizations in which you are involved:

National Soceity of Collegiate Scholars, Exercise Science Club

One piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman:

Your time at WKU is what you make it, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new because finding something to involve yourself in allows you to connect and truly become part of Western Kentucky University.
