Accounting Senior Receives KyCPA Scholarship
Amy Winkler, a WKU senior from Murray, has received a scholarship from the Educational Foundation of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA).
Winkler, an accounting major, received the Dean Dorton Allen Ford Scholarship during a recent banquet in Louisville.
The foundation has awarded $40,000 in scholarships to college students studying accounting on behalf of the Foundation and other benefactors, plus another $15,000 in CPA exam review grants.
The KyCPA is a statewide, non-profit professional organization serving CPAs in public accounting firms, business, industry, government and education.
