A little history:
The exact construction date is uncertain but is believed to be around 1930. The building was used as a student rooming house. Western purchased it in 1946 and continued to use it for student housing, first for men, then women. The Rock House then became the International House until 1996, when it was converted to its current use as archaeology labs and offices.
