The Library@T/TAS was first developed as a repository and clearinghouse for Head Start-specific informational and training materials, and has since grown to encompass an extensive collection of professional development and training resources.
The Library@T/TAS assists Head Start and Early Head Start grantees, early childhood programs, academic partners, and state and Federal agencies by providing low-cost access to an extensive collection of professional development and training resources. Countless hours of local research, pre-service training, in-service training, and educational and professional development activities have been conducted with the support of the resources and personnel of The Library @ T/TAS. The publications and media presentations selected for inclusion in the library are carefully reviewed and analyzed for their applicability to the specific needs of the Head Start and early childhood audience. Accessing The Library@T/TASWhether you're looking for introductory, intermediate, or advanced training resources, or for printed publications or media presentations, the staff of The Library@T/TAS can help you quickly find the items that are best suited to your research, your training needs, or your audience. The library is also the development and distribution center for all T/TAS publications and products; we'll be glad to help you find the right products for you and your staff. Customers wishing to access materials from the library may do so for $25 for the first three items and $5 per each additional item over three. Subscribers to T/TAS@Your Service are entitled to special library acesss (click the link for more information). All orders ship via UPS. We accept Purchase Orders, money orders, checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Accessing Other Helpful ResourcesOn-Line Head Start Publications. Through this site, T/TAS provides direct links to a variety of common Head Start publications that may be directly downloaded to your computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center is the clearinghouse for all Head Start and Early Head Start publications, such as Performance Standards, PRISMs, Training Guides, etc. Some publications are available in downloadable electronic formats. |
