1. Please be sure to always have your INSTRUMENT
and Music at each lesson. This includes the proper supplies
(rosin, pencil, shoulder rest) and all music books that we are
using at the time.
2. Make a point to be on time or
even 5 minutes early for your lessons. When it is time for your
lesson to begin, knock on the studio door.
3. Come to each lesson with your
assignments prepared. This allows us to make the most our of
our time each week. You will not only find yourself improving
quickly, you will have more fun! Remember, repeating the same
material week after week is a waster of everyone’s time!
4. If you need to miss a lesson,
please call 24 hours in advance. Students will be charge for
lessons missed if 24 hours notice is not given. Please refer
to the MAKE-UP LESSON POLICIES sheet for more details.
5. As you know, the student’s
lessons are scheduled back to back. If you are late for a lesson,
you will receive a shortened lesson. I cannot give the full
lesson time to those who are late. Accommodating one late student
causes everyone else to have his/her schedule disrupted.
6. When I request that your student
purchase new music, I expect them to have it by the next lesson.
The local music stores have been notified of the books and music
that I will require during the year and should have it in stock
