Mr. Kinder has been a member of the Department of Library Public Services since January of 2001.

• Provide 9 hours of weekly reference services to WKU faculty, staff, and students; in addition, answer reference inquiries in my office by email, fax, phone, and appointment
• Assist with the compilation and verification of bibliographies for course proposals submitted by faculty members in my collection development areas
• Responsible for Collection Development/Research Instruction for the following accounts: Bowling Green Community College -- Academic Support Division and Arts and Sciences division; Journalism & Broadcasting; Modern Language & Intercultural Studies; Sociology
• Library liaison for international students
• Create research instructional hand-outs for assigned accounts
• Present an occasional reference related workshop to colleagues
• Supervise student assistant
• Serve on WKU Libraries, University, and community service committees
• Publish relevant research in areas of scholarly interest
• Present original material at professional meetings

Research interests include international librarianship, preservation efforts, research instruction, bibliographic instruction, Appalachian studies, film studies, French Studies, and biographical studies.
