1997 Economic Census
  The Economic Census profiles the US economy every 5 years, from the national to the local level. Reports now available detail all industries nationwide. More reports are on the way. 2002 Economic Census forms will be sent to 5 million businesses in November and December 2002, asking for information about business activity during calendar 2002. The forms will be due back February 12, 2003. Results will be published during 2004 and 2005.
Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Home Page

CenStats
  The Web-based service from the U.S. Census Bureau provides access to several Census databases such as Annual Survey of Manufactures Data, Building Permits Data, County Business Patterns Data, etc.

Manufacturing, Mining and Construction Statistics
  Data come from the US Census Bureau. NAICS which is replacing the US Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system, provides common industry definitions for Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

US Council for International Business
  USCIB advances the global interests of American business both at home and abroad. It is the American affiliate of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD.
US Economy Books
  This University of Florida site is a great collection of business-related book bibliographies. WKU faculty, staff and students: we may or may not have these books, but you can check against our online catalog and use our online interlibrary loan form if you need them.
Web Directory: World and Non-U.S. Economic Data
