National Corvette Museum
Located at Exit 28 off I-65, this 68,000 square foot museum features more than 50 Corvettes set in their own era, racing and performance exhibits, gift shop and Chevrolet Theatre. Open 8:00-6:00 daily. Admission: Adults $8.00, Youth (6-16) 4.50, Children 5 and under Free. Riverview at Hobson Grove
Bowling Green’s historic landmark home has been restored to its original splendor and is listed on the National Register. A living museum, Riverview is an elegant interpretation of a Victorian home of the 1860-1890 period. Open Tues-Sat 10:00-4:00. Admission $3.50. Call 502/843-5565.

Shaker Museum at South Union
A short drive west of Bowling Green on US 68/KY 80 takes you to the historic site of South Union Shaker Village. The village site is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Museum contains original Shaker furniture, crafts, textiles, and manuscripts. Open 9:00-5:00 (Sun 1:00-5:00). Admission: Adults $4.00, Children $1.00. Call 800/811-8379.

Kentucky Museum and Library
Located on the Western Kentucky University campus, the Kentucky Museum and Library houses a rich collection of exciting and educational exhibits, as well as published works, manuscripts, and folklife materials. The Museum is open Tues. Through Sat. 9:30-4:00 (Sun. 1:00-4:00). The Library is open Mon. Through Fri. 8:30-4:30 and Sat. 9:30-4:00. Call 502/7452592.

Mammoth Cave National Park
Located just 30 miles north of Bowling Green, Mammoth Cave National Park offers a variety of cave tours, nature trails, camping, and scenic boat trips. Tours range from 1 to 6 hours and vary from easy to strenuous. For more information and tour tickets, call 800/967-2283.

Join historian Jonathan Jeffrey on a guided tour of historic sites in downtown Bowling Green.

Visit Sugar Maple Branch Library
Tour the newest addition to the Bowling Green Public Library. This branch is located in the Sugar Maple Square shopping center and features an expanded adult literacy center and computer lab.

Kentucky Museum Tour
Join a guided tour of Kentucky history at WKU’s Kentucky Museum. Admission: Adults $2.00, Children $1.00.
