Directions to Holiday Inn-University Plaza Convention Center, Bowling Green, KY

From Indiana
Follow I-65 South toward Louisville, KY. Cross into Kentucky and follow I-65 (about 117 miles) to Exit 22, Hwy. 231, turn right toward Bowling Green, KY. Go 2.2 miles to traffic light number 4. Turn right onto Ashley Street (Tumbleweed Restaurant is on the corner). Go .2 miles to Wilkinson Way. The Holiday Inn-University Plaza Convention Center will be directly in front of you. Cross Wilkinson Way and go straight into the parking lot and turn left. The Holiday Inn entrance is the second building.
From Ohio
From I-75 South toward Cincinnati, cross into Kentucky. Take I-71 South toward Louisville, KY at Exit 173. Follow I-71 South (about 68 miles) toward Louisville, KY to the Gene Snyder Freeway, Exit 9A. Follow the Gene Snyder Freeway (about 25 miles) to Exit 10 B onto I-65 South. Follow I-65 South (about 103 miles) to Exit 22, Hwy. 231, turn right toward Bowling Green, KY. Go 2.2 miles to traffic light number 4. From the Natcher Parkway South go to the end of the Parkway and follow the signs to I-65 North, take Exit 22, Hwy. 231 (stay in right lane, Exit 22 is about 1 mile), turn left toward Bowling Green, KY. Go 2.4 miles to traffic light number 4. Turn right onto Ashley Street (Tumbleweed Restaurant is on the corner). Go .2 miles to Wilkinson Way. The Holiday Inn-University Plaza Convention Center will be directly in front of you. Cross Wilkinson Way and go straight into the parking lot and turn left. The Holiday Inn entrance is the second building.
From Northeastern Kentucky
Follow the Bluegrass Parkway West to I-65 South. Follow I-65 South (about 103 miles) to Exit 22, Hwy. 231, turn right toward Bowling Green, KY. Go 2.2 miles to traffic light number 4. From Southeastern Kentucky
Follow the Cumberland Parkway East to I-65 South. Follow I-65 South (about 11 miles) to Exit 22, Hwy. 231, turn right toward Bowling Green, KY. Go 2.2 miles to traffic light number 4. Turn right onto Ashley Street (Tumbleweed Restaurant is on the corner). Go .2 miles to Wilkinson Way. The Holiday Inn-University Plaza Convention Center will be directly in front of you. Cross Wilkinson Way and go straight into the parking lot and turn left. The Holiday Inn entrance is the second building.
To get to the National Corvette Museum:
Wednesday – May 16
A shuttle bus will be provided to the National Corvette
Museum beginning at 5:30 pm from the main entrance
at the Holiday Inn. The shuttle will make round trips about every
30 minutes, with the last return trip from the National Corvette
Museum at 9:00 pm.
Directions for those who prefer to drive
to the National Corvette Museum:
Exit parking lot of hotel/convention center & turn right onto Wilkinson
Trace. At the stoplight (#3), turn left onto Scottsville Rd., continue to
stoplight #14 & turn left onto 1-65 North. Take exit 28, remain in left
lane & turn left at first stop light onto Corvette Drive.
Museum is on the right (look for a building with red and yellow dome)
approximately 10.3 miles from Convention Center to Corvette Museum.
To get to the WKU
Kentucky Library and Museum:
Thursday – May 17
A shuttle bus will be provided to the WKU Kentucky
Library and Museum beginning at 5:30 pm from the
main entrance at the Holiday Inn. The shuttle will make round trips about
every 30 minutes, with the last return trip from the WKU
Kentucky Library and Museum at 9:00 pm.
Directions for those who prefer to drive
to the WKU Kentucky Library & Museum:
Exit parking lot of hotel/convention center & turn right onto Wilkinson
Trace. At the stoplight (#3), turn right onto Scottsville Rd. At the second
stoplight (#1), turn left onto 31W, continue to the second stoplight &
turn right onto University Blvd. Go through 3 stoplights. Just after the road
makes a Y & becomes one-way, parking will be on your left (second blacktopped
entrance). Turn left into the parking lot just before the green fence. There
is a brown and white sign indicating that it is Kentucky Building parking.
Kentucky Library & Museum is across the street.
Please note you must exit on the opposite side of the parking lot and make
a left turn onto Adams St. (68 & 80). This will become University Blvd.
