John Henry Weller, 4th Kentucky Infantry
The Filson Club Historical Society
In 1861 nineteen year-old John Henry Weller of Louisville was appointed
Adjustant of the 4th Kentucky Infantry. He later served as Lieutenant
of Company D, and, by war's end, rose to the rank of lieutenant-colonel.
