Early Consolidated Schools

County School Superintendent O.P. Roemer marked 1914 and 1915 as "the years of educational awakening in Warren County . . . people are demanding better schools and are interested in education as I've never seen them in the past fifteen years." During this biennium, the county school board gave any consolidated district two dollars for every dollar raised by private subscription with a #3,500 limit.
