Rich Pond Consolidated
(1915)

Along with Boyce and Woodburn, Rich Pond was one of the first consolidated schools in Warren County. The district raised $1,750 to contribute towards the $5,250 building. This 8-room building shown in the first two photographs was constructed in 1915 and burned in 1925. A new building was completed and opened by the following year. Note the mule-drawn wagons used to transport students.
