Beech Bend Shooting Gallery, ca. 1900.
The presence of guns, croquet balls and mallets and fishing poles
indicate leisure activities enjoyed by visitors to Beech Bend.

Dance Pavilion, Beech Bend Park, 1920.
Residents enjoyed Saturday night dances for many years at the
park.
Beech Bend became an amusement park after
Charles Garvin purchased and developed the property. This postcard
of the park's go-cart track and midway boasted of a "free
zoo showing a select group of rare animals and birds."
