Instructor: Esther French

"My twelve students are mostly from Bosnia with the exception of one man from Burma. Most are older and some may never have been to school. They have been in the United States only a short time and they are still experiencing culture shock. My job is to equip them with some basic English survival skills. We try to have fun with this by working in groups and using music, art, and games to learn the basic concepts of the alphabet, numbers, time, and money."
