New York: a city searching for hope

Barninder Kurana wraps himself in the flag at a Sikh rally in Central Park. Kurana helped organize the rally so followers of the Sikh religion, a Hindu sect, could pray for victims of the attack on the World Trade Center – and remind other Americans that it would be a serious mistake to form opinions about others based on their appearance. Kurana said he wears a beard and turban like Osama bin Laden, but the similarities end there. "It's a case of mistaken identity," Kurana said. "We're here to show that we are in this country; we are part of this country."
