New York: a city searching for hope

Candles held aloft by New Yorker Robert Garmet and his 10-year-old son Eric contribute their light to a vigil in Union Square in lower Manhattan. The park became a gathering place spot for people to meet and grieve for loved ones lost in the attack on the World Trade Center.
