Grace (Kirby) Wiley, daughter of James Robert and Mina (Royalty) Kirby, was born on April 7, 1877 in Warren County, Kentucky. Wiley first studied art in Smiths Grove, Warren County, with Mrs. L.J. Rasdall. She later attended the Cincinnati School of Art. After her marriage to William A. Wiley of Hopkinsville she continued to paint. Wiley primarily painted portraits, flowers and nature scenes. Grace Wiley died April 28, 1952 in Warren County, Kentucky.
