Houchens Center

Members of the various clubs and groups that belong to the Houchens Center in Bowling Green came together periodically with Expressing Kentucky Artist-in-Residence Delaire Rowe and Visiting Artist Colleen Hathaway at the center to share their ideas for the group project and their own talents.

Each block of this quilt represents the clubs and/or individuals who participated in the project and illustrates ideas and symbols of Bowling Green, Warren County and the state of Kentucky. Visiting artist Colleen Hathaway, has unified all of the different pieces into one composition.
