After earning her MFA from Brooklyn College in New York (CUNY) and her BFA from Indiana University in Bloomington, she returned to Bowling Green where she began her art career at Western Kentucky University (WKU). She has served as artist-in-residence for the Kentucky Arts Council and International Paper Company, adjunct instructor in the WKU Art Department, Artist/Trainer for the Kentucky Collaborative for Teaching and Learning, and workshop facilitator for Very Special Arts Kentucky and The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU. Ms. Rowe's paintings, drawings and prints have been exhibited throughout the region, United States, Europe and Japan. Her work is held in private and corporate collections, and she has received numerous awards through her work with young children. Selected one-person exhibitions include the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Art Museum (Nashville), B. Deemer Gallery (Louisville), Gosser Fine Arts Center (Campbellsville) and the Houchens Gallery, Capitol Arts Center (Bowling Green). Selected group exhibitions include The Kentucky Museum (WKU), Singletary Center for the Arts (University of Kentucky) and First Street Gallery (New York).
