| ELIGIBILITY
All Kentucky residents 18 years of age or older living within
a 65-mile radius of Bowling Green, Kentucky may submit a maximum
of two works in any acceptable category (see below). They
may enter either as professional or amateur artists. WKU students
enter in the Professional Division.
All
entries must be original and completed during the past two
years. Greenware, utilitarian kits and craft items are not
eligible. Organizers reserve the right to disqualify from
consideration any work which does not meet acceptable standards
or poses installation problems, and to determine appropriate
divisions.
PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY
Includes college level students and persons with significant art training, as well as persons who regularly sell their work.
AMATEUR CATEGORY
Includes persons with limited art training who enjoy art as a hobby. |

A maximum of two works (for the entire show) may be submitted
by one artist in one or a combination of the following categories. Both works will be exhibited.

AGREEMENT
Accepted work must remain on exhibition March 2-April 5. The exhibition committee reserves the right
to reject any work that does not meet the criteria set forth
in the prospectus. Organizers reserve the right to reproduce
any work submitted for educational or promotional purposes.
Submission of an entry to this exhibition will be understood
to indicate agreement on the part of the artist with all conditions
set forth in the prospectus.
LIABILITY
Reasonable precautions will be taken
in handling entries, but The Kentucky Library and Museum cannot
assume liability for loss of, or damage to submitted works.
Artists should arrange for their own insurance. The Kentucky
Library and Museum will not be responsible for works not picked
up at the close of the exhibition.
SPECIFICATIONS
All framed entries must be prepared for hanging with properly
sized eyelets and wire. Other works which
hang must have appropriate hanging devises. Entries
not properly prepared or those presenting impossible handling
or installation problems will not be accepted.
Note:
Plexiglas is strongly recommended for works larger than 24". |

SALES
The Kentucky Library and Museum will retain 25% commission
on all sales directly attributed to this exhibition with a
portion providing scholarships for the Western Kentucky University
Visual Arts Department. |
DELIVER/RETURN
All works must be hand delivered
and picked up by the Artist on the dates listed on the Celebration
of the Arts Calendar.
No work will be released to anyone other than the Artist without
written permission from the Artist.
