Note: The Louisiana Purchase Exposition, or St. Louis World's
Fair, exceeded all previous American expositions in size and
in the number of postcards issued. Located on a 1270-acre
tract, the fair contained almost eight hundred structures.
The Samuel Cupples Envelope Company, official concessionaire
for stationery and postcards, published an incredible range
of cards with many printing variations. |
