Item/Collection Note: To what lengths must the unidentified sender have gone to find this reminder of Kentucky? It was sent from Larkspur, California to Louisville, Kentucky. The battleship Kentucky was one of 16 battleships forming the "Great White Fleet" that cruised the world from 1907-1909. It served as a troop training ship in World War I and was decommissioned in 1920.
