Kentucky Library and Museum online -- Information about online collections

Through this website, we open our doors to the World that may never have an opportunity to visit us! Currently it is not possible to put the entire Kentucky Library and Museum online. We are introducing you to the quality and vast quantity of words and objects we have waiting for you. As we plan additions to the site, we need your input. Tell us what topics you would like to see.

As you learn about our collections, we hope that you will plan a trip to the Kentucky Building. When you visit us, not everything you see online will be out on exhibit. The website allows us to share a small portion of our past exhibits and a few items from behind the scenes. With prior notice, we can make most things accessible.

As is true with many websites you visit, we have an ambitious vision for future construction. Currently we provide an introduction to some of our more popular collections. Each online collection is a sampling of a much larger in house collection.
